Gary Sarson

Gary Sarson has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, he was vice president of business development at Taqua (acquired by Sonus) where he was responsible for establishing global sales channel and solution partners as well as EMEA customer sales for Taqua’s virtualized software and SaaS mobile network core and Android device application software solutions. He was vice president business development at Kineto Wireless, a pioneer in VoWiFi and small cell solutions for mobile operators, where he established solution partners and was instrumental in shaping business and product strategy. Before joining Kineto, he was vice president product management and marketing at Proquent Systems, a Boston-based innovator of deep packet inspection for mobile applications.

Prior to these recent positions, he held many leadership roles in Nortel Networks based in Canada, UK, France, and the USA. In UK and France, he was part of the team that launched Nortel into GSM/UMTS mobile, as VP product management and marketing. In Canada, he was responsible for planning Nortel’s international business strategy, while in the US he was VP portfolio planning, setting the strategy and prioritization for Nortel’s then $3b annual R&D budget.

Gary Sarson has broad technology and business expertise from experience that includes; product management, marketing, business development, sales, strategic business planning, program management and product engineering/development. His technology experience has spanned mobile network infrastructure, software and services, NFV, SaaS, mobile device applications and OTT services. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
