Rick Applegate

Rick Applegate has more than 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining TAP as a founding partner, he was chief revenue officer at the Dublin, Ireland based Accuris Networks, responsible for the development and implementation of their sales and marketing strategy. He was senior vice president of global sales for Kineto Wireless, leaders in Wi-Fi calling, and was senior vice president of sales and marketing with RadioFrame Networks, focusing on radio access network products. Prior to joining RadioFrame Networks, he was president, chief executive and chairman of Entricom, an OSS software company leveraging the Internet for Communication Service Providers.

Previously, he served in a variety of executive and senior management positions, including vice president of sales at AT&T Wireless Services and vice president of sales and distribution for McCaw Cellular Communications. Mr. Applegate’s experience spans sales, marketing, information and management systems, customer service, finance and administration. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington State University and has completed Stanford University’s Executive Program.
