Susan (Sue) Spradley joins TAP Growth Group as a founding member with over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Previously Sue was Executive Vice President and general manager of Viavi’s (previously JDSU) Communications Test & Measurement business unit. Spradley was responsible for the development and management of the communications test-product portfolio, including instruments, probes, software applications and service-assurance solutions. Spradley has served in executive positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Nortel where she proactively drove change in culture and served as a role model for customer centric leadership and a mentor for young women in business.
She was appointed by President of the United States (George W. Bush) to serve on his National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. She is also chair of U.S. Ignite, a White House and National Science Foundation initiative to promote U.S. leadership in developing applications and services for broadband and software-defined networks. Sue launched the U.S. Ignite initiative while serving as Executive Director. Additionally, Spradley serves on the Qorvo Board of Directors.
Spradley holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Kansas, Lawrence and attended Harvard’s Advanced Management Program and holds a Cybersecurity Certificate from Carnegie Mellon Software Institute and NACD.
